Which charges are often outside an international freight quote?
Origin handling, documentation, terminal charges, destination handling, customs/brokerage work, inland delivery, chassis and drayage, storage, examinations, demurrage/detention and carrier surcharges may be separate, conditional or not yet known. Not every quote must be all-in; the question is whether exclusions and unknowns are visible before you compare.

Conditional charges such as storage, examinations or waiting time cannot always be priced in advance. They can still be named, with the trigger that would cause them.
What I Check First
- 1.What is explicitly excluded?
- 2.Which charges can change after booking, and why?
- 3.Who controls destination handling and final delivery?
